A ready-to-use cold-applied bitumen primer composed of elastomeric bitumen and volatile solvents.
Description
Preparation is needed to ensure strong adhesion to the surface (concrete, metal, and wood) before welding (using a torch or hot air) or gluing elastomeric bitumen-based waterproofing membranes. It can also be used on old or weathered bituminous waterproofing membranes with a slate or granulated finish. Elastocol 500 offers high bond strength, can be applied in cold temperatures, and enhances the adherence of bituminous structural waterproofing.
