Description
ALSAN SIL 2440 FA is a one-component, moisture-curing, elastic sealant made from low-modulus silicone. It offers excellent adhesion to a wide range of construction materials including concrete, brick, ceramic, glass, wood, and painted or galvanised metal.
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it is developed for the long-lasting sealing of connection and expansion joints in concrete, brickwork, curtain wall structures, and industrial settings. It can also be used in kitchens, bathrooms, showers, floors, façades, and to seal pipe penetrations or joints between partitions.
It is not suitable for PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene, or bituminous substrates. Discolouration may occur in dark environments or in contact with certain chemicals.
