Waterproofing solutions

Bituminous waterproofing
Soprema’s bituminous waterproofing membranes guarantee a watertight system that is FM approved and BROOF(T4) compliant. Renowned for their high resistance and adherence, excellent stress absorbance and flexibility, as well as superior tensile strength, our bitumen roofing systems ensure a long service life.
Soprema has also developed an automated bonding machine for bituminous membranes called the Mini-Mammouth, which ensures an even more efficient, fast and safe installation. In addition, on most membrane roof systems (bitumen, but also synthetics), you can use SOPRASAFE, our fall protection system with patented shock absorber.

Liquid waterproofing
ALSAN liquid waterproofing, too, provides a watertight solution for all types of projects and applications, including car parks, decks, floors, balconies, ramps, stairways, walkways, wet rooms, and flat roofs – even those involving multiple penetrations to the substrate. Our liquid waterproofing can be used to create a hybrid solution when combined with other Soprema waterproofing systems, covered by a single-point warranty.

Synthetic waterproofing
Soprema’s PVC and TPO membranes offer you all the creative freedom needed for completing functional, versatile, and stunning projects, featuring waveform and mono-pitch roofs, curved structures, or flat roofs. Our fully recyclable single-ply membranes are developed to last more than 30 years and to remain unaffected by structural building movements. Being light-weight and allowing for flame-free installation on site, our UV-resistant synthetic waterproofing membranes are easy and safe to install.

Structural waterproofing
Finally, our strong, reliable, but flexible bituminous structural waterproofing system called DUOFLEX is ideal for use in inverted roofs, green roofs, plazas, podium decks and other demanding applications. Our hot melt waterproofing solution lasts the lifetime of the structure to which it is applied – it is fully bonded to it and self-healing, ensuring a durable water barrier.

PAVATEX is a sustainable wood fibre insulation range made from wood chips that is high-performance and long-lasting, with superior breathability, excellent moisture control and acoustic properties, superior thermal performance and heat storage capacity, preventing building overheating in the summer and keeping warmth during winter.
