Description
The Sopralene Lightning Conductor Pad features a durable design, with a high-density polythene (HDPE) retaining clip securely fastened to a base slab made of elastomer-modified bitumen reinforced with non-woven polyester. The use of UV-stabilized HDPE ensures protection against sunlight degradation and prevents brittleness in cold weather.
This pad is available in two versions, offering a 25 mm x 3 mm slot for non-coated lightning conductor tape or a 25 mm x 6 mm slot for PVC-coated lightning conductor tape.
Equipped with a safety release mechanism, the retaining clip effectively minimises stress on the bituminous waterproofing membrane while fulfilling its purpose.
