SOPREMA’s TECSOUND acoustic insulation
TECSOUND is a polymer based, bitumen-free, high-density synthetic soundproofing membrane. The combination of TECOSOUND membrane’s viscoelasticity and high-density offers good sound insulation in different construction elements without increasing thickness. TECSOUNDS' upper face is finished with a non-woven polypropene reinforcement fleece, while the lower face is finished with a polyethene film.
TECOUND acoustic insulation is flexible and adaptable to uneven surfaces, including angles and joints. It is compatible with plasterboard, metal, plastics and carrier boards and may act as a vapor control layer. TECSOUND soundproofing membranes are available in a range of weights and sizes to match those of plasterboards. TECSOUND products are supplied on a roll but are available in boards or sheets on request. A self-adhesive version is also available enabling faster application.
SOPREMA’s TECSOUND TUBE S acoustic insulation
TECSOUND TUBE S is a polymer based, bitumen-free, high density, low thickness synthetic and viscoelastic soundproofing complex membrane. TECSOUND TUBE S' upper face consists of TECSOUND, while the lower face is coupled with a non-woven polyester fleece. The membrane has two self-adhesive strips to facilitate the installation and sealing of the overlaps.
TECSOUND TUBE S is perfect for acoustic insulation of water, rain and drainpipes in buildings. It reduces the transmission of vibrations in pipes to the structure, as well as contact noise in bends. It is flexible and adaptable to all types of piping (round or square) and connections, ensuring the continuity of insulation. This eliminates the need for specific tubes for bends and connections.
