The new Healthcare centre in Athenry, Galway is a purpose built, two storey Primary Care Unit. Designed by Coyle Kennedy Consulting Engineers, the new building provides brand new and state of the art facilities for health care professionals and patients alike. Soprema’s Flagon PVC waterproofing membrane in lead grey was specified for its sustainable and high performance properties. In addition to the durability and flexibility, the membrane has provided the roof with aesthetic value to match its performance.
The lead grey standing seam profile waterproofing system not only provides clear sustainability and performance benefits compared to traditional metal roofing but also compliments the cedar cladding and accommodates the unusual curved design of the new build structure. Soprema’s approved contractor MD Roofing installed the waterproofing system to an extremely high standard ensuring even the most difficult details were achieved with an outstanding aesthetic finish.
